NAPOLEONICS: Charge of the Heavy's

As I had all these figures here awaiting going to their owners I couldn't resist he chance of putting them into a battle scene for the period. All the figures are from the Perry's range and are all metal figures...The Dutch Belgian troops are from Paul Spence's collection and the Cuirassier's are from Tony Won's and I'm sure the lads don't mind you all having a look...lol
The scene shows 3 regiments of French Cuirassier's attacking a Dutch Belgian line held by The Prince of Orange(Silly Billy himself) lets hope he remembers to form square.

Here we see the 3 regiments of Cuirassier's in more detail , they are the 4th in the lead charging followed by the 7th and the 11th without cuirasses in the rear. There cavalry have been a pleasure to paint and I am on with lots more cavalry for Tony at present so more possible battle scenes to come in the near future.
I have used the Perry's own flags on these chaps but this is only temporary as Tony will put on his own.

Here we have the Dutch Belgian force of the Prince...there is a Battery of Foot Artillery supported by 2 battalions of the 28th Orange Nassau regiment. With the 5th Belgian Dragoons on their flank. As with Tony ,Paul is increasing his troops of this type with more Dutch Belgian stuff to come.
