28mm Napoleonic Cavalry & French Square for 1815

Because of the recent outbreak of illness around and the lockdown I was able to set up a photo shoot with some of the figures waiting to be shipped out to their owners and here is the outcome.
Shown above are 3 units from the British Cavalry of 1815 advancing upon a French Square.
The units are the Blues the Scots Greys & the Royal Dragoon Guards. All figures are from Perry Miniatures and all are in metal as 12 man units.

The French units within the square are standard French infantry of the period and are featured in greatcoats ,a fairly new addition to the Perry's metals as such and also are seen are Generals and a Marshal. Again these are all metal figures from this period of the conflict.

Finally we have the French Cavalry coming to their aid led by the courageous Marshal Ney...the Ney group are a Perry's metal set and are a joy to paint. The following units are the 1st and 6th French Hussars. these figures are from Perry's plastic Hussars sets ,but again they paint up beautifully and only add to the scene.

Hope you have enjoyed this collage as much as I did setting it up.
