Here are a few shots of a set of British AWI figures recently done for a friend. They are Perry plastics and a few metals and have been painted as the 34th Cumberland Regt.
I really enjoyed painting this set and went for off white trousers and webbing against the yellow facings.
I chose to show the figures in the wilderness setting against a cabin background. I found that the metal figures are still more deeper detailed but I think this is the difference between the metal and plastic kits and you loose a little in the heavy detail.
