NAPOLEONIC 3
Here is the final part of a Napoleonic commission. First we have the beautiful Saxon Lieb Cuirasseurs... these figures were different to paint and I have to say the metal was quite brittle , two of the horses arrived with legs missing so I added 1st Corps horses for the officers.

MEXICAN AMERICAN WAR PROJECT
For the next project its 1st Corps Mex/am war...here are my first US regulars ...the first six I painted using a sky blue undercoat and then a dark blue wash to get the right uniform colour and for the second six I used a mid blue undercoat and then dry brushed up...I think both works.
As for my first Mexican regulars below I have gone for the 11th regt. and the 4th Light Infantry regt.
FRENCH & INDIAN WAR PROJECT
I have long since wanted to have my own small collections using 1st Corps figures from the early ranges...I believe the work on these is beautiful so here is the start of these projects...
Starting with some French marines..British rangers and French regulars.

Here's another lovely unit of Prussian reserves from Calpe Miniatures, again great figures to paint..and a nice change with the green facings.
Now a few French Napoleonic Light Infantry voltigeurs skirmishing. Figures from Perry Miniatures.
Finally a few action shots of the commission over the last two posts together...the barn was a scratch built bought from ebay a couple of years ago.

NAPOLEONICS
These first ones are of the Saxon Guard Grenadiers of the Napoleonic Wars...the flag is just there for display as the unit is part of a commission....the beautiful figures are new to the market really but were a pleasure to paint.
This next unit is from the same commission and is Prussian Reserve Infantry from the Waterloo period...again beautiful figures to paint produced by Caple Miniatures
Finally some beautiful Dutch Hussars again from the Waterloo period in a 24man unit...the figures this time are from Perry Miniatures.
