28mm WW2 BOLT ACTION 44 part 1

Don't often get chance to game a lot these days but have recently put together a Bolt Action game on a 6x4 table for 44 France using 1st Corps figures and 1/43...48 vehicles. As you all know I love the bigger stuff as to me they just look right...lol.
Below you can see the set up and the Objectives with the entrance points for the different forces. As I solo game I can adapt the entrances to fit the scenario easily...there is a main objective of a German truck carrying supplies and some of the Fuhrers stolen art which has broken down and 3 smaller objectives of fuel.

Here we have the two forces for the game both German and US. The Germans are really there to recover the "Supplies" by securing the town were as the Americans are advancing into the region.

28mm Napoleonic Saxons & Prussians

After a long time doing normal standard French and British I have recently done some of these lovely Saxon infantry of Von Rechtens regiment from both Murowski and Calpe as well as these Prussian Schleisisches  Cuirassiers from Murowski .
Have enjoyed doing these figures as a change from the norm and they are at present winging their way over to Italy ,to their new home with Stefano. Please take no notice of the flags as they are just to finish the look...lol

1st Corps 28mm WWII Europe

Well having spent a lot of time recently painting some Naps that were in uniforms as seen before so I decided to increase my WWII collection and add some lovely chunky 1st Corps figures it.
Now at first I realised that 1st Corps don't actually do US troops for the European theatre ,but after looking at their Pacific figures I decided that they were good enough in general uniform to be used and the rest can be seen. For the Germans I utilised the three types of troops ,Wehrmacht ,Camouflaged and Fallschirmjäger.
to these troops I have put my new 1/43 vehicles as I really like the size against the figures

Below we see some German squads of troops with their transports...both Paratroops and Infantry.
The 1st Corps figures have a lot of character and there are many variants in their sets.

Here we have some US troops with their transports... the US figures come in many variants also and with all the different hand weapons you need
